Oven-Baked Salmon Fillet

Oven-Baked Salmon Fillet

PREPARATION: 20 minutes
COOKING: 20-30 minutes (depending on the thickness of the fillets)
TOTAL: 40-50 minutes
PORTION(S): 3-4 servings

PREPARATION

  1. BEFORE YOU BEGIN: Keep serving plates warm by placing them on the stove.
  2. With the rack at the bottom position, preheat the oven to 425 °F (215 °C).
  3. Cut the salmon fillet into pieces of similar size, corresponding to the number of portions desired, and place them on an oiled baking sheet.
  4. Coat the pieces with oil.
  5. Season with salt and pepper generously; cover with oregano.
  6. Allow about 10 min for a 2 to 2.5 cm (about 1 inch) thick fillet. The time required depends not only on the thickness of the fillets, but also on the actual temperature of your oven, it is important to check the doneness using a fork.
  7. Serve on hot plates.
NOTES:
You can serve the fillets with lemon slices and tartar sauce.
